THE ILLUSTRATIONS
In another life, one of our resident artists met a composer, in the cobbled streets of Saint-Michel, Paris.
They were night owls, meandering through the alleyways and avenues; contemplating all things art, philosophy and avant-garde fashion.
Those months of artistic kinship gave birth to a series of illustrations created with a Rastrum; a five-pointed nib, composers pen.
The figures in the sketches are a motley crew of models, artists and dancers, all from that bygone era.
FRAMES
For our Archivist 1of1 frames, we commission bespoke mouldings made from the finest quality oak. Each frame is individually cut and joined with a spline detailing at each corner; often in a contrast wood. Our frames are handy dyed and varnished for a clean, quality finish.
